i am working on my final year project, "Automation of a batch process using Honeywell DCS HC900 C30".

I have almost completed with Functional Block Diagram part done in Hybrid control designer software.

I want to know if i could use some SCADA software? If yes, Which?
Is there any inbuilt Software for DCS or related software for Honeywell DCS which would perform Process data gathering function and representation in a neat way?

Please Help!

Current firmware 4.4 (or higher) HC900 controllers can use flash memory in the controller's CPU for tag value data storage.

The best description (with great graphics and illustrations) is the 'HC900 CPU data storage and retrieval app note', available here::

Honeywell's Control Station CS-900 HMI panel can also log data to its flash memory, and has multiple screen trending functionality built in.

For DCS/SCADA/HMI connectivity, the HC-900 is a native Modbus slave and master.

One can choose the factory assigned register map (when the HC is a slave) or create a custom map for specific tags. Hence any HMI panel, HMI software or OPC server with Modbus RTU or Modbus/TCP functionality can easily communicate with an HC-900 controller.
