We have 03 Promel FGP 04 installed at our GE gas turbines. F&G panels communicate with GE through MODBUS TCP/IP link. Currently we are unable to rectify the communication problem. FGP-CEB is connected to the HMI through a network switch containing PDH ports.

Is this a new installation of the fire & gas panels, or was it working and then it just stopped working?

Was the software in the F&GPs upgraded just before the problem started? Was one or more of the F&GPs re-booted, reconfigured and/or replaced?

What kind of Mark* Speedtronic turbine control panels?

What OS (version of MS-Windows) and CIMPLICITY and TCI versions are in use on the HMI?

How many HMIs are using TCP/IP to communicate with the F&GPs? One per turbine? One for all the turbines? Two for all the turbines?

Is the configuration per the Network Diagram supplied with the control systems?

If the configuration was working for some time, and then it stopped, what was changed to cause the problem? Was something done to the HMI(s) that were previously working fine? If so, what was done?
