Flow Calculations

We are currently measuring gas flow in our process. Now there is a need for us to represent the total amount of gas used in Nm3/h. I understand that this is also affected by the gas temperature and pressure. I need the formula to get gas quantity when measuring flow.

1. Find out the pressure and temperature conditions used for the "normal" state - N means "normal". Convert to absolute units. These are Pb and Tb respectively - b = base.

2. Also convert the actual pressure and temperature to absolute units. These are Pa and Ta respectively - a = actual.

3. Then volumetric flow at base conditions = volumetric flow at actual
conditions x Pa/Pb x Tb/Ta.

The "Normal" pressure will probably be 101.325 kPaA but the temperature could be 0 degC or 15 degC or 20 degC... so you need to check.
