There are a lot of solution to interface from RS232 to Profibus DP, but I couldn't find any solution from Foundation Fieldbus (FF) - are there any components to connect my device to FF?

The second question: Which kinds of ASIC's are there for FF-interfaces? - I found the YTZ420 from YAMAHA, are there any others?

I'm not surprised that there are such devices for Profibus DP but not for Foundation Fieldbus. Profibus DP's forte is with discretes where FF shines with continuous process control applications.

The only company that may have what your looking for is Smar. "www.smar.com":http://www.smar.com . They
are the only company that could provide me with FF to current transducers.
