Free Beans


I thought it was cool too. I used to be a sales engineer for CAN and DeviceNet products in Japan. PLC is certainly a big thing here. I'm frustrated that most of these devices only runs on Windows. Surely we can have open-source stuff. CAN and DeviceNet are just protocols and devices so there is no reason why we cannot have Real-Time Linux controlling them. I've even done some programming on CAN devices under Win95. If there is enough interest, I certainly can help :)
