I need information about fuzzy self tuning pid applications. I wrote an 8051 program that is based on Ziegler-Nichols method for temperature control. But as you can guess it's slow. But I heard about fuzzy self tune method which omron uses in E5CN, E5J**. What is the basic idea of this article? Where can I find information about this subject (books, web addresses, your ideas, etc.)

Hi,
Thank you for your interest. But my problem is different. All information in these sites offer you to tune your PID parameters using a conventional method used in order to find PID parameters such as Ziegler-Nichols and then convert your control action to Fuzzy Logic. But I want to do opposite. My system can stabilize using almost correct PID parameters. I want to find those almost correct PID parameters using Fuzzy Logic and then going on with conventional PID control.
