We have GE 7FA DLN 2.6 gas turbine. Ideally to do online water wash, IGV should be opened fully (approx 84 DGA). We are operating the unit on base load. To do online water wash we are reducing the load approx. 5 MW & hence IGV is also closing to 78 DGA. My query is, why are we reducing the load & hence closing IGV to do online water wash?
