We have 2 Mark V Frame 6 TMR machines. Mark V equipped with 3 DS 200 TCEA G1B cards. I would like to know whether I can use DS 200 TCEA G1A card in place of G1B cards. If it possible, how do I configure?
It can be done if you have a handle on the full functionality of both type cards,do you? What I do know, the TCEAG1B is configurable via the <I> using the IO configuarator. The TCEAG1A does not have this capabality. Configuration has to be done manually. [berg jumper settings].
Apart from that, you would have to update the files on the <I> .asg and .dat that pertains to the TCEA card to match that of the new TCEAG1A.
IF YOU DON'T WANT TROUBLE, DON'T GO MESSING AROUND WITH THAT.
If your system was not configured for a type G1A card, chances are you may not have those files.
Then you would need to replace all three cards from the <p> core to type G1A.
