I made a connections and terminations for interfacing of GE Fanuc 90-30 series PCM port 2(Mega Basic application of Modbus Master RTU loaded), RS485 2-wire with Solartron Flow computer, S485 2-ire as suggested by Mr. Alan Hartwell.
The reported message in modbus nmaster is bad error for reading of inputs function code 1 or 3. You have mentioned in earlier reply that "make sure the configuration of the comm port disables the receiver durung transmit.
