we have in our plant, gefanuc plc and we used
cimplicity scada for hmi

the problem we are facing while running the cimplicity program is when we run the cimplicity scada in running window it shows 'cal_rp
failed' and after that it is not proceding further.

what is mean by 'cal_rp' failed?

thank you for the reply in advance.

This is one of those names only a prgrammer would love. In fact it is the name of one of the CIMPLICITY HMI processes (processes are basically all of the little programs that make up the CIMPLICITY program.

The following table lists background Process IDs for all base system and product options for CIMPLICITY HMI processes. You can find a formated version of this list at "www.gefanuc.com/support/cimplicity/downloads/gfk1180k.pdf":http://www.gefanuc.com/support/cimplicity/downloads/gfk1180k.pdf

Your problem is related to the "Action Calendar" process.

The set of options running on a node depends on the communication protocols, printers, and product options you have installed.

List of processes follows:
Name Description
AMRP Alarm Management Resident Process
APSM_RP APSM Resident Process
CAL_RP Action Calendar
CNCALM CNC Alarm Process
DA_RC Historical Data Analyzer Recalculation Process
DA_RP Historical Data Analyzer Resident Process
DL_RP Data Logger Resident Process
DYNCFG Dynamic Configuration Process
EM_RP Event Manager Resident Process
MTCPSI_RP Modbus TCP Slave Interface
MRTUSI_RP Modbus RTU Slave Interface
MASTER_<port> Device Communications Interfaces
MASTER_<printer_name> Alarm Manager Line Printer Process
MASTER_PTDP_RP Point Management Virtual Point Resident Process
MASTER_PTM<n>_RP Point Management Resident Process
PDC_DS Tracker - Decision Control Data Server

I believe that you don't have "Action Calendar" option registered (you must pay extra for it), but since it easily sneaks in when you install Cimplicity and creates project with that option, that is what happens.

I can't remember exactly, but try to uninstall the option or remove it from your project.
