Has anyone used the new GE machine edition software? And what is your honest opinion on how it compares to AB Contrologix platform?

 

I've used GE ME many many times. They may have a newer version, but it's been out for years now.

I've always liked it. As far as a comparison goes; I do prefer the GE ME development environment over Logix5000, but I prefer AB hardware over GE.
