We are using Gould Programmable Controller in water treatment plant. The system model is 984 and is in service since 1989. The system was supplied by GACO Industrial automation, Canada.

1) We are interested to have backup of running software.

2) we have a hard listing of the program but we do not have the instruction set for the same.

pls cd u guide us where the information is available.

1. You can backup a program by update from 984 controllor, to do this you need a modsoft that is a program software from modicon runing under dos.

2. Simple means geting a instruction set is use a modsoft online help. You can locate a cursor on the instruction want know and press simultaneity ALT and H, can see a help window.

 

You don't need the instruction set - the hardcopy - if complete - is OK. You need to specify which 984 - there are a lot of models.
