A problem from a particularly fascinating project.

In an LPG 'vaporizer', the liquid level was supposed to be controlled by a DCS loop at 'almost' zero. The DP Level transmitter selected had a minimum span which was too high for the application. The solution (Not by me): A Reflex Level Gauge with an operator standing by
to manually throttle the vaporizer inlet valve.
Any comments anyone?

Loadcell weighing method was used to fill LPG gas, nozle can be open until the required tare level is reached,or time based we can open the nozle

You may be on to something...
Why not put a human in each of the DCS loops? You could also give the man a bell to ring in case an alarm level is reached!
