Is it possible to mix HART and non-HART inputs on one current loop and still allow the HART bit to work.

The client wants HART instrumentation for their remote HART-compatible DCS inputs, but our own kit is just plain old 4-20mA inputs. Can we mix - or will we have to use seperate intruments?
