I have inherited Honeywell (L&N) Micromax as my major control system. I am no fan of it but I have to live with it. Support for the product has been declining for years. I have been told that there is only about a two year window for spare parts left.

Is this a dead control system? How long do I have to get rid of it? Is there a support net left?

Hello,

There has been a lot of discussion on support related problems and obsolescence of systems. Third world countries face such isues every day where vendors peddle their old systems at lower prices and within a short span of time, you get a letter saying that the system has to be upgraded. And spares and support is available at very high prices.

I believe that AutomationX uses old hardware and the new AutomationX
