We are using HIACS control system for Hitachi Gas Turbine Control.

We are facing problem of Alarm Management. This control system is having limited Alarm Summary points - 250 points. After exhausting this numbers, alarms are overwritten.

We want to have Alarm History for at least 30 days.

Anybody has faced similar problem for HIACS system or anyother system?

How to solve this problem?

 

If you have a way of printing out alarms (either via serial or parallel port)it might be possible to connect the printer output to a PC based printer replacement system. IMAC from the UK (but now owned by Matrikon) is one I can think of but there may well be others.
