I am looking for a way to gather OPC data from a HIMA H51-MK PLC. This system also has a Plessy (DOS-based) HMI. Any ideas?

Connect through Modbus OPC servers.

 

OPC is a great way to connect the SIS to the HMI. However, the person said DOS which does not support OPC. For DOS they may have to use Modbus or something. However, it may be a good idea to upgrade the HMI to something that supports OPC.

Unfortunately, its not possible to get data from PLESY to HIMA system. Had it been WIZCON (Plesy-2) with ELOP II then it could have been.
