(Apologies as I am not au fait with the technical terms)

Would like some advice on automatically generating reports from a standard historian software, exporting the data to an excel or csv file, and then uploading it to the cloud (I am on a separate network/server to the one on which historian is connected to). I understand one can manually enter historian to generate then export a report with selected tags to these file types, however without connecting to the network/server remotely or purchasing an additional historian patch such as wonderware cloud insight, I would like to set up a way to automatically generate/export/upload reports say every 24 hours to allow access to these reports from the cloud.

If this is GE Historian, two simple options are Dream Reports or SQL Server Reporting Services via a linked table.
