I'm totally confused in the difference between HMI "Human to Machine Interface" and MMI "Man Machine Interface". Beside the acronyms have they same function? and technology?

There's no difference between the two. HMI or "Human Machine Interface" was used to be MMI or "Man Machine Interface" before. But since there had been an abundance of female operators in the industry, They later changed it to HMI to broaden the scope of the term..
