Hi there,
Does anyone know of any internationally recognised HMI/MMI standards for common screen symbols/colours for the food and beverage manufacturing sector? Im looking into standardising the way we represent pieces of plant, pipes, colours of chemicals, water, steam, etc. We have our own standards but i would prefer to work towards an international standard if possible.

I am a member of the SP101 ISA standards committee and we are doing just this. We just got started and I am sure you could participate. Go to http://www.isa.org and look for SP101.

If nothing is found I could get you the address of the person responsible. We started roughly a month ago and have had 2 meetings (via phone
conference).
