We are using Honeywell Experion PKS DCS with C-300 controller and PMIO. We are using "Station" software for HMI interface. On any graphics screen there are menu & toolbar on the top to navigate & select a particular graphic. On toolbar, "Forward" & "Backward" buttons are configured to go to previous/next screen. In few operator station (workstation) these buttons are not working. Can anybody guide pl to resolve this issue.

 

Do you mean the forward and backward buttons for display navigation history?

If so open the connection properties -> Toolbars Tab -> Customize Button -> Toolbars Tab.
And then find the buttons for Back & Forward in the Current layout listbox and then check they have the commands:

[Navigation] Back
[Navigation] Forward

Then on the available commands listbox on the right, find those commands and edit them and check the commands have the following settings for action:

Action: Predefined Action
Predefined Action: [Navigation] Back
Predefined Action: [Navigation]Forward (for the forward) command.

We found that "Connection Properties" selection tab is gray (non selectable) when opens on clicking Station. Pl refer image below. pl guide us further.

How are you launching Station? It looks like you have some command line options set to disable menu items (or this can happen if you use the 'view in station' option of HMIweb.

You wont be able to check or adjust the menu settings if you are launching station in this locked down state. It looks like you have safeview so the launch settings are likely in safeview.
