Hello Everybody,
We have a Honeywell TPS System for our HRSG plant. It's been in place for last seven years. Recently we've encountered three RTD FTA failures in a span of less than three weeks. RTD FTAs have never been very trouble-free but this time around, it's been quite frequent. My questions are:
1) Should one attribute it purely to aging of system?
2) Each time the diagonistics reflect a common fault in "Box Failures" namely, "FTA1 has a reference voltage failure". The Electronic documentation says that in such a case FTA should be replaced. Is it possible to restore the reference voltage by any means??? (Changing an Reference voltage Zener or something equivalent????!!!!!)
Any help in this regard will be appreciated...
au revoir
