Hot loop for analogous signal

Hi,

I want to know how differences between an analog device testing and FF devices Testing (hot loop). Many Thanks.

What is "hot loop"? Are you referring to loop test / loop check?

Five point 4/8/12/16/20 mA loop check is not done for FF because fieldbus devices are digital, there is no current signal, so no current distortion due to ground loop or excessive resistance.
