How to get Siemens Apogee InSight Alarm?

We are trying to get alarm data and alarm description from Siemens Apogee InSight HMI from an ODBC or OPC client. It is easy to get InSight data as it is an OPC server. But I am not sure if I can get alarm descriptions as well.

Is it ODBC compliant? Is an API available?
