I have to set up an evelator project(for building) . But I don't know What's control mode of MM440 is suitable for evelator. Can somebody help me?

The Siemens MM440 does have an option for closed loop tach feedback but I would suggest using the Siemens 6SE70 Vector Control drive since it is an applied drive with built in elevator control schemes. The MM440 is more suitable for standard applications.

Hi,
You must use vector control mode, activate brake resistance and install a resistor that can disipate de energy of going down de elevator at full charge for the period that last from upper level to lower level.

Can you let us all know which building this elevator control is going into. We'd like to avoid it.
Seriously though, building safety systems for elevators is not a job for amateurs unless of course this is a student excercise
