In my factory the calculations of the oriface had to be changed due to the process flow increasing. But I cannot modify the DP range of the rosemount 3095mv with my 371 or 375 communitor. Asking the hotline with answer that3095mv can only modify flowRangethe hotline of rosemount said that 3095mv is diff from 3051 and no need to set DP value. This is I do not understand. Anybody can explan this clear a liitle more?

The multivariable model 3095 measures dp, p & t and the three variable goes into a flow computer that resides inside the 3095. If dP is within the capacity of the dp-sensor for your 3095, the only you have to do is to rerange the massflow in the massflow unit that you selected, the transmitter "knows" the dp at the specific flow already.

But if you replaced the orifice or changed process media etc, then you have to re-configure the Flow Setup in this flow computer, to be able to do so you need a software called "Engineering Assistant" (and a HART modem).
