Would like to have way to setting up the Citect SCADA 6.10 to sending SMS via GSM/GPRS Modem (RS-232 Serial type). Anyone could suggestion for how to perform this function?

Please help me for good one suggestion that would be workable.

You may try using U.C.ME-OPC. Have a look at www.controlsee.com. A trial version is available.

You can receive alarms from Citect and also acknowledge alarms and query/modify tag values using your cell phone.

Connect a RS232 GPRS modem to your machine. And make a simple program to send SMS to the preset number.
