HRSG Steam Header Pressure Interlock.

HRSG produces steam with 10.8 bar pressure and 186 deg C. There is an interlock to trip the unit when the steam header pressure reaches 9.0 bar.

Why do you think there is such interlock? is it a protection for the steam drum, the header or the customer?
