Has anyone sent an alphanumeric page using Hyperterminal and nothing else? I have the phone number of the paging service and the individual's pager number but can't get the process to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

 

I have not used an alphanumeric pager before, only numeric coded pagers. What characters do you have to send to the paging service? From my own experience after dialing the the number with ATDT ####...the last character must be a semi-colon ; to drop the modem from dial mode into command mode. Then you should be able to send numeric tones. Again don't know about the alphabetic characters?
