The OP77B is connected to an S7-315 PLC via profibus.
I've set the transfer settings on the OP77B to DP and given it a station address of 7. I've also confirmed that it has the correct speed of 1.5MB.

However, I have not been able to transfer the project either through the PLC MPI port or direct connection to the OP77B.

The dip switches on the back are set to MPI/DP.
I'm sure I'm missing something easy but I can't see it.

I have read the manuals but not getting anywhere. Does anyone know where I'm going wrong?

Hi,

couple of things to check. First of all ensure that ports are enabled for transfer. This is done in the hmi control 'transfer settings'. The other thing is if this is a new HMI you will need to download the OS first. I would suggest that you try downloading using a serial connection direct from your laptop, this is the default transfer mode.
