Does anyone have information about the protocols IEC 870-5-101,102,103,104,105? And about vendors of PLC with this protocols?

Hi Laura,

the protocol you are looking for is an open standard with a lot of different syntax so that normally it is not possible to communicate between different manufactors. You can buy the complete information about the protocol from the IEC (www.IEC.ch) and I know very good user groups where you can get a lot of information:

Hi Laura,

we sell an automation system which supports IEC 60870-5-101,102,103,104 and I never heard about 105. Like all other suppliers we support only a subset of each standard but I think our system is leading in IEC protocol integration. Pls. specify your questions directly to me.
