We are at the moment implementing an interface between a RTU and a Siemens(7SA513) numerical distance protection relay using IEC 870-5-103 protocol.
We are simply retrieving both digital and analog input points from the relay and that is easily achieved by referring to the appendix of the instructions manual of the relay.
We are having trouble retrieving several points on the relay specifically
1. fault resistance, ohm primary
2. fault reactance, ohm primary
3. fault resistance, ohm secondary
4. fault reactance, ohm secondary
5. distance to fault in km
6. distance to fault in %
We dont know how to distingush this 6 points whether they are a digital input point, analog input point, or whether they can actually be retrieved using IEC 870-5-103. The manual refers to these points as annunciation with value.
Is there anybody there able to help us with regards to this?
