I am getting an "IEC Upload information not restored successfully Error Id: OLI-21735" when uploading from Quantum 140 CPU 434 12 into Concept V2.6.

I can upload the configuration but it fails in the IEC Program sections after uploading them for some time.

The original program was written in 2006 and then modified a few years later when a ProSoft Profibus module was added to the end of the rack. This module does not seem to be in the configuration that I am getting. Below is the config. Any help will be gratefully appreciated

With compiled projects, upload is often a selectable option. Why? To save memory space, and perhaps for security.

Upload is a such a selectable option with Concept. If the project was downloaded without this option selected, then it cannot be uploaded. You can upload the project configuration but not the actual project code.

A problem? Yes if the original code cannot be located. But, this is not a shortcoming of the software. The problem is policy and archiving.

Consider a site with over 400 controllers and numerous support staff. Projects are all set to prohibit upload. Staff gets the current project from the library server, does their troubleshooting and returns the project to the server. This way the current copy is not located on the employees laptop who has just left on vacation and taken the computer with him.

In life, you still have the option of locking your keys in the car and leaving the water running. With Programmable Automation Controllers you also have options.
