I am using a Allen Bradley SLC 505 and I need to talk to a Agilent 4338B Milliohm meter that uses IEEE-488. I need to tell the meter to start and read the test results using the plc. I am planning on using a basic module in the plc and use a black box converter that converts RS-232 to IEEE-488. I have never used a basic module and know nothing about IEEE-488. Has anyone done a similiar project or have any information on AB basic module or IEEE-488?
