I'm Back...

I know there is at least one or two of you out there that still remembers me... I hope.... :)

Anyhow, thanks to a neat feature called Explicit Congestion Notification that is in the 2.4 Linux Kernel, I was unable to send any mail to the mailing list since October.

Thanks to the great assistance of Corey at Control.com, I am back to bother you all again! Ken, if you see this, please buy Corey a Coke (or whatever his drink of choice is - he has earned it)!

To let you all know about the CELL library, we now directly support Aliases on the ControlLogix (including Aliases into I/O space). Right now, we are working on adding the ability to read multiple tags in a single command (should speed up data retrieval from a ControlLogix by several magnitudes).

For those of you who don't know what CELL is, it stands for "CIP/Ethernet Library for Linux" - an open-source commercial product that allows a Linux (or other Unix) based PC directly communicate with an Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC.

Thanks for your attention - have a great day!
