We are looking at using ProConOs and MultiProg wt for the control of a relatively small automatic measuring machine. Interface within the same PC to Visual Basic and C++ applications will be required. Does anyone have any experience of ProConOs and similar applications. Any comments are welcome.

 

We are considering the ProConOS as an Soft Control unit but have found the tech support in GB non existant. We have been on the verge of using it for at least 6 months but there are definite problems with the Proconos. It is ok if you are going to use one of their driver cards, otherwise it becomes a little 'wooley' in term of what it can do and what it will talk to. The software itself is very good but I would say beware. Ask them to show you a working LOCAL!!! example first
