I was perusing the Linux news and thought this might be of interest. There is a great deal of interest as of late in embedded Linux which is synergistic with our project. In true Open Source fashion, this may alleviate some of our
concerns before they become problems. These guys, Lineo, and RedHat nee Cygnus are working towards deterministic Linux distributions that may allow us to focus more on the PLC and less on the OS. Worth looking into........
PLC's are, after all is said and done, a multi purpose embedded system.
