information regarding automation career

hi,my name is yogesh.
I have completed my bachelors degree in mechanical engineering in India. Currently i am working with a company as design engineer. I want to do MS in automation. I want to ask what exactly will be my job profile ones i complete my MS in automation field?

Also want to ask which are good universities which provides education for automation?
