Information Request-Lead Sheath Cable

I would greatly appreciate if someone can give me his/her experience in using lead sheath cable for instrumentation application. Referring to standard, we use lead sheath cable where exposure to hydrocarbon oils and organic solvents, but because of environment pollution we intend to use an applicable replacement.

I would be thankful if someone can advise me the industrial regulations that are used in their plants about this issue.
