MOST units do not have a means of monitoring mass flow--inlet or exhaust. Additional instrumentation will have to be installed. This author has seen some extremely complicated methods for calculating exhaust mass flow-rate using inlet flow-rate and fuel flow-rate--but they were, at best, approximations and only used for trending purposes (increase or decrease), which can be quite useful for some purposes.
