Hi,

I have Alfa Laval Think-Top butterfly valve feedback units with solenoid valves. These units are rated IP67. I plan to install them in an open area, basically our raw material storage yard.
Although the units are IP67, they are made out of plastic parts.
My concern is, is it okay to install these in an open area?
Does IP67 mean weather proof?

Any help would be useful.

IP67 is submersible up to 1m.
