I have DeepSEA Electronics Module 5220 with a modbus outlet controlling a generator. I would like to take the information the the Deepsea controller can generate back to my PC, which is currently running a SCADA program WinCC. How can I integrate the modbus into the PC and monitor the data using WinCC?

The following link: http://www.allmendinger.de will take you to a 3rd-party developper who have developped a Modbus driver for WinCC. Once installed, it gives you access to Modbus tags through the serial port of the PC.

Other possibility is to use something like KEPServerEX OPC Server (http://www.kepware.com/). It supports a lot of protocols & PLC, MODBUS included. So the KEPServerEX OPC Server will talk with your MODBUS devices and WinCC will read the information by OPC DA.
