Interface to MDS iNet 900 Radio

Our customer (ChevronTexaco) is currently using modems and copper to communicate from 3 locations back to their central control point. They wish to do away with the modems and copper and go with a data-radio solution. We have all the data-radios, in place, and communicating except for the last '3 feet' to the Modicon itself. We have tried numerous cabling permutations between the MDS radio and the Modicon box.

Here is the pin-out of the comm-port connector on the MDS radio:

1- DCD
2- RXD
3- TXD
4- DTR
5- GND
6- DSR
7- RTS
8- CTS
9- Unused

We don't have a diagram that shows the pin-out of the 9-pin connector on the Modicon PC-A984-131 box. Can someone supply the pin-out or (better yet) the cable construction required to make these two units communicate? Also, do we need to implement hardware flow-control?
