UPDATE: International Symposium on Robotics and Automation, ISRA'2002 1 to 4 September 2002, Toluca, Estado de Mexico, Mexico

We have received many requests for a deadline
extension of the papers submission. So we have decided to still accept papers until the extended deadline: July 8, 2002.

The Mexican National Academy of Research in Robotics (ANIRob) and the Instituto Tecnologico de Toluca are pleased to announce the 3rd International Symposium on Robotics and Automation, ISRA'2002.

Please take notice that the ISRA'2002 is being (as in the two previous successful ISRA's) Technical Co-sponsored by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS).

The conference will reunite research groups, engineers and practitioners to present recent results, technological innovations and promising future directions in robotics and automation systems. The conference is looking for new theoretical results, techniques and main applications in diverse areas, which include but are not limited to:
Artificial Intelligence, Manipulator Design, Augmented Reality, Metabotics, Autonomous Systems, MetaBots, SoftBots, WebBots, Bionics/Biomechanics, Mobile Robots, Calibration, Multi-Robots Systems, Computational Intelligence, Multi-Sensor Integration and Fusion, Computational Wisdom, Neural Networks, Computer
Vision, Path Planning, Cybernetics, Programming,
Education on Robotics, Redundant Robots, Expert
Systems, Robot Control, Flexible Manufacturing Systems, Robot Dynamics, Flexible Robots, Simulation, Fuzzy Logic, Soft Computing, Human-Computer Interaction/Interface, Symbolic Models, Humanoid Robotics, Task Planning, Intelligent Control, Teleoperation/Telepresence, Intelligent
Manufacturing/Production, Virtual Manufacturing,
Intelligent Systems, Virtual Reality, Kinematics, Wise Systems, and Learning/Reasoning Systems.

The extended deadline for abstracts and full papers submissions is: July 8, 2002.
