Afternoon all,

I'm having problems with Window Viewer (Intouch 9.5). The problem has been narrowed down to the trends I have running for sensors and temp probes. Each time I scroll through with a "time" scooter after about 5-10secs my app "crashes" and leaves me staring at a blank grey screen.

To get it all running again I have to shut down the app (WV) and then restart it.

I can replicate this problem every time so am certain that it is trend related.

I'm currently intouch (excuse the pun) with local tech support but we have been banging away at this for more than a month now.

I just wondered if any one else has come across a similar problem.

I have the same problem on three units, so it's not just an isolated problem on one machine.

It does it on two HMIs and my development machine.

They are all running Win XP SP2.

Appreciate any help.

Found the problem with thanks to Wonderware tech support South Africa.

Turns out it was a statement in one of my scripts.

"hideself" was used and when the script ran it did exactly that no matter what screen was showing. Better Practice is to say "hide*screen name*".
