The proposed cost for the Invensys Customer First maintenance/software agreement for our Triconex safety systems came in at a huge cost increase compared to previous years. While we don't use Foxboro for a DCS, the price for Triconex came in at a level that we pay for our (other) DCS maintenance contract. Has anyone else experienced this yet? If so what are your plans? Are there any real alternatives?
