Hi,
I’m using Codesys to control a drive through an Altivar 71 Frequency converter. In the help file I can see the following line which applies to a series of commands that can be sent to the drive:
If used in IO mode: the Drive control's functions do not work.
However, I’ve been looking for information in all the help files provided about the IO mode and I haven’t been able to find any more info. The fact is that I can’t control my drive even with the example code supplied since it doesn’t reply to the commands I send: (DriveRunForward(),DriveRunReverse(), etc).
I'm a complete newbie in this area and at the moment I'm learning the beauties of the Automation & Control world, maybe my question is a bit stupid but I'm kind of stuck here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
