We have old Grey Box computers , with 20M HD , using IRMX-86, we need to copy that old hard disk to another 30 hard disks, also I need the irmx-86 files to format the hard disk, if you have solutions please advise.

We have IRMX installed on several real time servo positioning units. IRMX sits on top of a standard DOS partition and a regular format. IRMX loads as a standard DOS app. As far as I know. No special requirements exist.

IMHO... You could use a null modem cabled attached to com ports on the source and target machines and use the Ms-DOS version of LapLink that comes with DOS 6.0 as the media for a cross disk copy.

You could use a null modem cabled attached to com ports on the source and target machines. But you couldn't use the Ms-DOS version of LapLink that comes with DOS 6.0 as the media for a cross disk copy, as you couldn't run it on the iRMX-86. But, I have a suggestion that use terminal simulator using a PC as a normal terminal(like procomm.exe) of the iRMX-86, then copy the diaplaying of the files in iRMX-86 to your PC. I used this method successfully download many files from Intel's 310 machine to PC. George Li
