Is there any equivalent of S7 PC Adapter (RS232 - MPI/DP converter)?

Hi,

I'm looking for an electronic device that be able to replace Siemens brand S7 PC Adapter (RS232 MPI/DP converter).

But because I'm an unexperienced technical person on these subject, I don't know is it possible.

Also I wonder that is this RS232 - RS485 converter? (Of course if all these are possible!)

No mate its a RS232/RS485 but not a simple RS232/RS485 its a bit intelligent. I have tried to make it myself but not found any direct equilent. you can also visit runmode.com
