Current project has a couple of control units that are based on the SAE J1939 network using the CAN protocol. Want to connect these to a system network based on Modbus. Have looked for converters/gateways but have not been successful.

I'm looking for information, advise, direction, anything that can aid me in finding a way to tie these two protocols together.

I've checked SST for their X-Link Gateways but nothing was listed for CAN.

Also, anyone use the WAGO programmable field bus couplers? Thoughts? Suggestions?

B&B Electronics makes an RS-232 to J1939 converter, model 1939STB.
